Once again, our field of peonies is coming to life with very little effort at all.  The herbaceous varieties range from small sprouts to 3 feet tall with the very early varieties in full bloom and new varieties will be opening throughout the month of May, peaking around the middle of the month.  The tree peonies are in full bloom now. 

Peony Meadows is a nursery located in Stony Point, Virginia (northeast of Charlottesville).  We carry over 150 varieties of herbaceous and tree peonies.  Peony Meadows was started in 1995 when Jim Weirich and Tony Francis, brothers-in-law, combined their ideas and hard work to make a dream come true. Tony is a dedicated gardener who chose the peony plant, and Jim had the land as well as experience with large scale farming.  Each year since then, we have expanded our field of flowers and they have become more plentiful and more beautiful each year.

Some varieties are not listed because they are young or limited in quantity, so feel free to contact us if you are looking for something specific.
